Dr. Mourany is a fully trained Orthodontist, having qualified in the United States of America in 1986. He graduated with top honors (Magna Cum Laude) from Washington University School of Dental Medicine where he completed a master's program in Orthodontics. Dr. Mourany also held a position in the School of Dentistry at Case Western University, Ohio as Assistant Professor of Orthodontics.
Dr Mourany is Board Certified Diplomate from the National Board of Orthodontists, U.S. (USA). And from the American Board of Orthodontics ( USA ).
Dr Mourany holds proficient level certification in Laser from the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) in the USA.
Whilst in the states, Dr. Mourany established a private practice in Cleveland, Ohio where he worked from 1988 - 1993. From then, he made the decision to expand his vision and move abroad to the United Arab Emirates and ultimately form a practice here.
After serving as a Consultant Orthodontist (1993 - 1999) and Director of Dental Services (1995 - 1997) for Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, Dr. Mourany has proceeded towards his goal and in 1999 he founded Mourany Orthodontic Center: a private center in Al Ain where people can come and feel comfortable knowing they're getting the best in orthodontic care.
Dr. Mourany annually updates his education by completing 40 credit hours of continuing dental education every year. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) and the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), The Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) in the USA, the Emirates Medical Association and the Emirates society of orthodontics.
In addition to working on the development of MOC, Dr. Mourany enjoys classical music, reading and collecting antiques. He and his wife, Randa, have three beautiful children who keep them busy otherwise! |
