Orthodontics

Orthodontics is a dental speciality used not only to straighten the teeth but also to correct the patient’s bite (the relationship between the upper and lower teeth and jaws). Orthodontists are General Dentists who have subsequently completed a two –to- three-year academic and clinical residency program to specialise in the prevention, diagnosis, and correction of irregularities in tooth and jaw relationships and in deformities of the face.
While a general dentist may claim to provide orthodontic treatment for their patients, he/she does not have the educational background and training required to practice as an orthodontist.

Lingual (Invisible) Braces

Lingual braces provides the ultimate esthetics in orthodontics, and are the REAL invisible braces. The Braces are placed on the inside, or the tongue side (lingual surfaces) of the teeth. Contrary to the common thinking, lingual braces are more comfortable because the tongue adapts easily. With lingual braces, all orthodontic problems can be addressed and treated.

Invisalign

Invisalign is an esthetic orthodontic appliance that corrects malocclusion using a series of custom-made, nearly invisible, removable Aligners. Only certain cases can be treated with this approach.
